Get back up, brush it off, it's just a little dirt.
It might have scared you some, but it didn't really hurt.
You're still intact, you'll be just fine, you're not so far off track.
So get back up, brush it off, or you'll just set yourself back.
Keep your eyes ahead of you, your dreams within your sights,
But remember to appreciate sunsets and starry nights.
Life's too short to waste your time worried how it 'seems'
So remember to enjoy the paths you take to reach those dreams.
What may feel like a setback could still hold some insight,
As long as in your heart you know you'll always be alright.
Oftentimes where we land is not what we recall,
But instead it's the journey - whether it was large or small.
So don't stop now, you've just begun the next stage of your life,
And all you've got to know is if it's here, then it is right.
Every stepping stone presents a gift from which to grow
And the best part of this journey is HOW we get to where we go.
So get back up, brush it off, prepare to face the sun...
